5th Anniversary

Yesterday Jeff and I celebrated our fifth wedding anniversary. Where has the time gone? To celebrate Jeff scheduled a couples massage for us in the afternoon. Then in the evening we went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner and we saw the movie curious life of Benjamin Button. The massage was wonderful. It was my first full body massage. I definitely will be asking for one for my birthday. It was nice to spend some alone time with Jeff. Thanks Grandma Jill for watching Brayden.


I feel I have learned a lot these past few years. Marriage is definitely hard but it is also so rewarding. I have learned that we are not happy unless we are both trying to put the other persons needs in front of ours. I cannot be selfish. I have learned to have more patience and I am continuing to learn patience. I have learned that Jeff has to have sleep otherwise we are both miserable. I have learned that with some things we may never completely see eye to eye but that is okay. I also have learned that Heavenly Father is connected in every way to our marriage. I am so grateful that Jeff and I were sealed together as an eternal family. It is a day I will never forget. At times I know we both get discouraged, but I am so grateful that Jeff and I know we can turn to our Heavenly Father for help so we can be reminded of the potential he sees in the both us together. Jeff and I am excited to see what is in store for us these next five years!! I love you!
