Photography by Moriah

Well once again my blog has been put on the back burner. I feel like my life has been so much busier with two kids and with Jeff traveling so much I am a single mom many days. Brielle is almost ten months now! She has grown so fast this past year. For journal purposes I am going to go back and recap what has happened these past six months.

Brielle was born right before my mother passed away. I have wanted to have a little girl for a long time. I had a good relationship with my mother and I long to have the same relationship with my daughters. My mom prayed all last year that Heavenly Father would send me a little girl. Brielle was my tender mercy. She was sent to me at a time when I feel Heavenly Father knew I needed her sweet spirit the most.

I miss my mom a lot. Many times I will be out shopping and I will see a girl close to my age with her mom shopping and having a good time together. I am not going to lie, I become very sad because I want that to be me shopping and having a good time with my mom. I am amazed at how writing can be such good therapy.

Well due to Brielle being born at such a crazy time, things that I really wanted to do with Brielle got pushed aside. I love sweet newborn pictures. I had every intention of sending cute announcements out of Brielle but it just did not happen. In some ways I still feel guilty about this but considering the circumstances I have to forgive myself. Luckily my friend Moriah offered to take pictures of Brielle back in March. Brielle was so cooperative and happy considering she was wearing a very itchy tutu. Here are some of the cute pictures that Moriah captured. Brielle is 4 months in these pictures.

Who can resist a baby in a tutu?

What a beautiful baby girl. I was touched when you said you had prayed for a little girl. Maybe that will work for me too. We miss you guys! Are you coming for the holidays?
